The Computer Select Limited Edition is part of the Computer Library
product line published by Ziff Desktop Information, the leading
publisher of electronic information about computers and computing,

Computer Select: Updated monthly, Computer Select contains the full-
text of more than 70 leading computer publications, including 22
industry newsletters plus abstracts of articles from more than 100
other computer, technical and business publications. In addition, the
product provides specifications on more than 75,000 hardware, software
and communications products; profiles of more than 13,000 companies
that manufacture or distribute them; and 8,000 definitions of computer
and telecommunications terms. The product's full-text search-and-
retrieve software allows users to search by product, company,
publication, topic or any word or combination of words that appear
in the text.
PC Magazine Select Demos: A database of computer software
demonstrations designed to help users quickly and comprehensively
evaluate software products. The product features over 1,200 MS DOS and
Windows-based software demonstrations and working models, all on one
CD-ROM. Demonstrations can be easily downloaded and distributed for
evaluation by multiple users or for presentation to key decision-
makers. With Select Demos, users can "shop at their computers" by
receiving complete product demonstrations, full technical
specifications and hands-on experience to make buying decisions.
Support On Site: The first product in a series, Support On Site for
Applications, is a comprehensive database of support information on
leading PC software applications and MS DOS and Windows. As with all
Computer Library products, Support On Site is on CD-ROM with an easy
search-and-retrieve software environment. Support On Site offers
comprehensive support information, including proprietary "tech notes"
information from the leading software publishers' own support
organizations. Support On Site for Applications includes documentation
and technical notes for more than two dozen of the leading software
applications; books; newsletters; and software updates including
drivers, macros and patches. Support On Site is the first product of
its type to include information on multiple applications from multiple
vendors.
